Wavetable Synthesizer User Interface
A MIDI compatible two dimensional wavetable synthesizer where the user can draw out the synthesizer waveforms using the MUGIC device. This was a final project done for my CS190 course offered at UCI. The MUGIC device is inherintely a 9 axis AMU. With this in mind there are various parameters that the user can draw the waveform with such as acceleration, yaw, pitch, etc. The user can then playback the waveforms and crossfade between each waveform to create unique never beforeheard soundscapes which they have created themselves. The two waveforms can fade between each other through a user defined LFO. A continuous mode is also included in live performance situations where automatic recording of the waveform is needed, and the speed of recording is defined by the inputted BPM of the music you would like to play along to. An effects chain is also included. These effects include filtering, "self-convolution", bitcrush, sawtooth convolution, and Reverb. The program was written in MAX/MSP.
